A few things to know:

• Wein Goutte is certified organic through ABCERT DE-ÖKO-006.

• Some wines have Super Goutte instead of Wein Goutte written on the labels: in the Landwein category, when some grapes come from outside the domaine, the term “wein” is protected and we can’t use it on our bottles even though it is in our name. It’s absolutely ridiculous, it makes zero sense, but we have to comply with the undeciphrable rules of the German Wine Law.

• Our wines like air. Don’t hesitate to open them an hour in advance, or use a decanter, or drink them over a day or two.

• The wax we used on the top of our bottles is 100% organic beeswax from Christoph’s village in Württemberg and is therefore compostable.

• The labels are designed by Simon Roy, who is not only very talented, but doubled as a harvest intern for the past two vintages.
