Designation of Origin: Deutscher Landwein Main

Vintage: 2023

Grape(s): 25% of each of these grapes: Müller-Thurgau , Bacchus, Muscaris, Johanniter.

Vinification: Every variety was processed separately. Muscaris, Müller-Thurgau and Johanniter were foot-stomped and pressed the following day. The Bacchus was destemmed and macerated for seven days.

Aging: Johanniter and Bacchus were aged in 500L barrels. Müller-Thurgau and Muscaris were aged in stainless. Everything was blended shortly before bottling.

Bottled: 24th of August 2024

Soil type: Gipskeuper

Age of vines: Muscaris and was planted in 2009, Johanniter in 2005 and the Müller-Thurgau is from two plots planted in 1972 & 2007. The Johanniter on the hillside has not been sprayed since 20 years.

Sulfur: All of our wines had a microdose of sulfur pre-bottling, and analyses came back under 20mg total.

A note about the name: For farmers probably 9pm, but you can decide for yourselves.
